Apostle to Indonesia 2

Father Daniel Byantoro will continue telling his conversion story at Holy Apostles Orthodox Church on Monday 2 July at 7 PM. This past Monday, he covered his conversion from Islam, which involved much discussion of the Qur'an and what Muslims believe – so much discussion, in fact, that he did not get any further. This coming Monday he will continue with his conversion from Protestantism to Orthodoxy.

Update: Reader Michael took photos at Fr. Daniel's first talk, on his conversion from Islam to Christianity, and his second talk, on his conversion to Orthodoxy. Holy Apostles recorded both talks.

Roland, I hope someone taped his story. It would be fascinating to read a transcript!

I am told that Fr. Daniel's talk was indeed taped - I assume on video, but now that I think about it I'm not really sure. The next time I visit Holy Apostles I will be sure to inquire.

Neat! When you find out, just leave a note here, if you would.

Kevin - I had lunch with Fr. Daniel today. He said his talks at Holy Apostles were recorded on audio, not video.

Tomorrow evening, Monday 9 July, at 7pm Fr. Daniel will lead a Bible study on Ephesians at Holy Apostles. Two weeks later, on 23 July, he will either conclude the study of Ephesians or talk about the Holy Trinity.
